Welcome to the 2008 racing season.

Hi everyone, Sorry it has been so long since we have updated the site. We will try to do better for the upcoming season. We got the new mod put together in time to head to Kentucky Lake Motor Speedway to run a U.M.P. mod show on Mar 13th. There was 50 mods checked in on the first night. Jake qualified for the A main thru the B feature. Jake started 27th and was running 19th when he encountered motor problems and had to pull into the infield. Jake was scored 23rd. After the race we found out the head was cracked on the motor so we could not compete the next night. See you soon at the track Wildlman Race Team #99
Memorial Weekend Racing

The Wildman Racing Team started the weekend early with our first trip to the KRA Speedway in Willmar on Thursday night. Jake started the feature in 8th place, had a great battle with Brandon Nelson, and ended up in 3rd place and a trip to the tech shed. Our next race was at the Viking Speedway on a cold Sat. night. Jake won his heat race and started the feature in 2nd place. He ended up in 4th place after a hard fought battle with Shane Sabraski and Danny Bayer. Sunday night was a warmer night but Jake started the night with bad draw and started the heat in 7th place. He ended up in 6th place after a tangle with another car. He started the "B" feature in 5th place and move up to 2nd place, which gave him the last (24th) starting spot in the "A" feature. He worked his way up to 17th place finish. We made our annual Memorial Day trip to Madison. When we got to Madison, it was 88 degrees with a strong south wind. He placed third in the heat. The track decided to redraw for the feature lineup and Jake started 8th. He ran the high side while the other cars were running the low side and ended up in 2nd place. It was an exciting night for the Wildman Racing Team.
Viking Speedway Races

4/21/07 Jake had a good night of racing on opening night. He won his heat race and got 2nd in the feature. The Wildman Race Team was happy with the way the car looked for the first night of racing. 4/28/07 Jake started 8th in his heat race and on lap 4, tangled with another car. The car sustained a lot of right side sheet metal damage and a flat tire. During the yellow, the pit crew changed the tire and Jake finished the heat race in 6th place. The pit crew worked hard during the break and did a great job of pounding out the sheet metal to get the car ready for the "B" Main. Jake started pole in the 2nd "B" Main and won, which gave him the 22nd starting spot in the "A" feature. The car handled fairly well and Jake finished in 12th place. We will be heading again to the Viking Speedway on May 5th.
